An Empire Select side (15s) will take on the British Police Selects on Randall’s Island on May 23rd. This is British Police Selects' second game of its tour, following a game against the Boston Barbarians on May 16.

Selections are open to any CIPPed athletes in an Empire GU club. Selections for this game will be from athletes which take part in the USA Rugby National Tracking Camp on May 17 at Baker Field, Columbia University (Manhattan). Given that some teams are still in playoffs some flexibility in the selection process will be necessary. The selected Empire squad will train on Wednesday, May 20, in Manhattan.

British Police Rugby play at least four domestic fixtures every season. They play annual fixtures against the British Army, RAF, Ireland Police & British Fire Service.

In addition British Police Rugby tour overseas every two years with a shorter weekend tour alternate years. They have visited all the major rugby playing countries - including New Zealand, Australia, South Africa and Canada.
